AC100 Installation with Android Jelly Bean and Linux Ubuntu:
How to:
1. Open the folder “1_Android_Jelly Bean_4.1” on your computer and copy the files
“cm_ac100-ota-eng.cm10-beta3.zombah.zip” and “gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip” to the
external or/and internal sd-card of your AC100
2. Shut down your AC100. Connect your AC100 to the power-supply. Connect your AC100 to
your computer with mini-USB. Set your AC100 into NV-flashmode pushing CTRL + ESC
+ Power (until the blue LED is on).
3. Open the folder “2_Android_Frodo_2.2” on your computer and install Frodo_2.2 to your
AC100 using the command-file "flash_full_116.cmd" for AC100-3G-models (Use
“flash_full_117.cmd” for AC100-Non3G-models).
4. After completing turn off your AC100 and set it into NV-flashmode again.
5. Open the folder “3_Downgrade_to_2.1” on your computer and install the downgrade using

7. Open the folder “4_Clockwork_Installer” on your computer and install Clockwork Recovery
using the command-file “cwm-recovery.cmd”.
8. After completing turn off your AC100.
9. Boot your AC100 into Clockwork Recovery through the boot-menu (Holding HOME key
+ pressing Power. Then choose option 1)
10. Choose these commands in Clockwork Recovery:
- “wipe data/factory reset”
- “wipe cache partition”
- “advanced”
- “Wipe Dalvik Cache”
- “Go Back”
----------------------- Page 3-----------------------
11. Choose the command “install zip from sdcard” and search for the file file “cm_ac100-ota-
eng.cm10-beta3.zombah.zip” on the external or/and internal sd-card of your AC100
12. After that “install zip from sdcard” again and choose the file file “gapps-jb-20121011-
signed.zip” on the external or/and internal sd-card of your AC100
13. “Go back” and “reboot system now” in Clockwork Recovery menu and enjoy Android Jelly
Bean on your AC100 after the reboot
14. For installing Linux beside the Android-system power off your AC100 and set it into NV-
flashmode.
15. Open the folder “6_Linux-Image” on your computer and copy the file „ubuntu-12.04-
preinstalled-desktop-armhf+ac100.tar.gz“ to an USB-stick and connect this USB-stick to
your AC100.
16. Remove the external sd-card from your AC100
17. You have to copy the Android-bootloader from partition no. 6 to partition no. 5. And after
you have to copy the Linux-Installation-Loader to partition no. 6.
Open the folder “5_Changing_Bootloaders” on your computer and restart your AC100 in
NV-flashmode each time after using one of these command-files:
“Copy_Android_Boot-img_from_Partition-6.cmd” + restart into flashmode
“Paste_Android_Boot-img_to_Partition-5.cmd” + restart into flashmode
“Paste_Linux-Installation-img_to_Partition-6.cmd” + AC100 should reboot automatically
----------------------- Page 4-----------------------
18. Your AC100 should reboot automatically and will install Linux. Wait about 10 minutes and
do inputs when you are prompted. Reboot your device it it does not reboot automatically
after the Linux-Installation has finished.
19. Now the standard boot-system is Linux. If you want to boot into Android you have to start
the boot-menu (Holding HOME key + pressing Power. Then choose option 1 for
Android). Now enjoy Android or Ubuntu on your AC100.
20. Unfortunately at the moment I have no idea how to enter the Clockwork Recovery from this
point of installation. So if you want to do some changes to the Android system in the
Recovery from now on you have to do a fully new installation (step 1 to 18).
